I Day Information – January 30-31:

The end of Semester 1 (Grade 9-12) is fast approaching. Wednesday, January 29th is our last day of regular classes in this Semester.

Thursday, January 30th we will be having an “I Day”. On the 30th, only students who have been requested to come in by their teachers are required to attend (this includes Grade 8’s). The intention of this day is to assist students who are just short of passing their course to finish projects and improve their mark to passing. If your student has not been told to attend, they do not have to come to school.

Friday, January 31st, the school is closed for all students. Staff will be resetting their classrooms for the next Semester, starting Monday, February 3rd.

Semester 2 Schedules: Students in Grades 9-12 are checking their next semester schedules online this week and have been instructed on how to make changes with the school counsellors.

Please note that the next round of Grade 8 electives also start on Monday, February 3rd. Their new elective classes will be posted in their current class, starting Wednesday, January 22nd.

Sun Peaks Ski Trip: February 7, 2025

Grad Gown Sizing Form – Due Jan 31, 2025

Please fill out the attached document “Grad Gown Sizing Form 2025” and return the form to Mrs. McGowan in the MSS library or email to . There will be paper copies of the form available in the MSS library as well if needed. Check off the size that corresponds to your height and fill in your preferred name(s) that you will want on your graduation participation certificate and to be announced at the graduation ceremony. Note that this certificate is the one provided by the school stating that you participated in the graduation ceremony, your official Ministry Diploma that will have your full legal name on it will be mailed to you in September if you have completed all the Ministry graduation requirements.

Completed forms are due January 31, 2025.
