Safe Arrival

At School District No. 58, ensuring that all our students arrive safely at school each and every day is of utmost
importance. To enhance our existing absence-checking procedure, we are reminding you of our more efficient student absence
reporting system called SafeArrival. This system reduces the time it takes to verify student attendance, make it easier for
you to report your child’s absence and easier for staff to respond to unexplained student absences.

Numeracy and Literacy Exams

Graduation assessments are changing to align with the new BC curriculum. As part of the updated graduation requirements, students in the B.C. Graduation Program will have to complete three provincial assessments. They will focus on the demonstration and application of numeracy and literacy.
